By accessing these websites, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use our websites if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. General

1.1. These websites are operated by us. Throughout the sites, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bushcraft Magazine and The Bushcraft Show. We offer these websites, including all information, tools, and services available from these sites to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

1.2. By visiting our sites and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.

2. Products and Services

2.1. All products listed on our websites are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

2.2. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the product.

2.3. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

2.4. Our products are tools and not toys. They should always be used under the supervision of a responsible adult to ensure safety.

2.5. Any age-restricted products must only be purchased by adults over 18 years of age. We reserve the right to request proof of ID to verify age before completing a purchase.

2.6. Age-restricted products will be sent via a verified delivery service, which incurs an additional shipping cost.

3. Order Processing

3.1. By placing an order through our websites, you are offering to purchase a product subject to the following terms and conditions.

3.2. Orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are limited to the United Kingdom and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.

3.3. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.

4. Shipping

4.1. We currently only ship to addresses within the United Kingdom.

4.2. Shipping costs will be added to the total purchase price and will be clearly displayed at checkout.

4.3. We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch.

5. Changing your mind

5.1. You can cancel an order for books or merchandise within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days start the day after the goods reach you, or the person you asked us to send them to. If an order comes in more than one parcel, they start the day after the last parcel arrives.

5.2. To cancel, tell us clearly that you want to. You can email info@bushcraftmagazine.com, write to us at the address under Company Details, or use our contact form. You can use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you don't have to. You're in time as long as you send your message before the 14 days end.

5.3. Send the goods back to us at Eva Cottage, Foxes Lane, Coldham, Bishops Wood, ST19 9BJ, within 14 days of telling us you're cancelling. You pay the cost of sending them back.

5.4. We'll refund everything you paid for the goods, including the postage, within 14 days of getting them back or of you showing us you've sent them, whichever is sooner. We'll refund to the way you paid, and we won't charge you a fee for it.

5.5. You can look at and handle the goods as you would in a shop. If they come back worth less because they've been handled more than that, we may take the loss in value off your refund.

5.6. Subscriptions have their own rules for cancelling and refunds, on our Cancel a subscription page. Back issues are single issues of a magazine, so the right to cancel in 5.1 doesn't apply to them. Show tickets, camping, workshops and add-ons that are services, such as bedding for a bell tent, are booked for set dates, so the right to cancel in 5.1 doesn't apply to them either. Our Refund & Returns policy says when we refund them.

5.7. We have a legal duty to supply goods that match your order. If something arrives faulty or isn't what you ordered, tell us and we'll replace it or refund you in full, including the cost of sending it back.

6. Privacy

6.1. Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

7.1. We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

7.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our services.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

9.1. You can review the most current version of the terms and conditions at any time on this page.

9.2. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our websites. Your continued use of or access to the websites following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Gift cards

  • You can spend a gift card at online checkout on bushcraftmagazine.com and thebushcraftshow.co.uk, on subscriptions, back issues, books, merchandise, Show tickets and workshops.
  • A gift card can't be used to buy gift cards, to pay a volunteer deposit or to pay for postage. It can't be used at the tills at the Show or for orders taken by phone. Discount codes can't be used to buy a gift card.
  • You can use one gift card per order. If you also have a discount code, enter the discount code first and the gift card after it.
  • You don't have to spend a gift card all at once. Whatever you don't spend stays on the card until it expires.
  • A gift card expires 12 months after the day it was bought, or on the date given in the email with its code. Anything left on the card when it expires is lost.
  • If you bought a gift card, you can cancel it within 14 days after the day you bought it, as long as none of it has been spent. Tell us in any clear way, for example by emailing info@bushcraftmagazine.com or using the cancellation form at the end of these terms. We'll refund the card in full, to the way you paid. After that, or once any of it has been spent, a gift card can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Anyone with the code can spend the card, so keep it safe. We can't replace anything spent by someone else using the code.
  • If we refund an order that a gift card paid towards, up to what the card paid goes back onto the card. If the card has expired by then, it can be used again for 12 months from the date of the refund.
