All persons using the sauna or facilities do so at their own risk, if you have any
reservations regarding existing medical conditions you should check with your doctor
before using the sauna. If any of the below apply to you we advise that you seek
your GP’s advice.
- If you are pregnant
- If you have had a heart attack or stroke
- If you are taking any medications
- If you have a cardio vascular condition
- If you have epilepsy
- If you have asthma or breathing difficulties
- If you have high or low blood pressure
- If you have arterial disease
- If you have a recent muscle or joint injury or operation
- If you have any allergies please advise your sauna host
- If you feel unwell at any time, leave the sauna immediately and seek medical
assistance if needed.
- Sauna rounds should be no longer than 20 minutes, we recommend 5 to 15
minutes followed by hydration, cooling and a rest period before re entering.
Listen to your body and not the clock, it is not an endurance event, if you feel
light head, dizzy or nauseous leave the sauna and tell your sauna host.
- Do not enter the sauna following a large meal
Conduct
- Alcohol, nudity and smoking are not permitted in the sauna or wellbeing area.
Exposure to hot equipment, slippery surfaces and high and low temperatures
are done so at your own risk. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anybody
we consider to be intoxicated. Anybody using the ice bath, shower or natural
water source do so at their own risk.
- Please shower before entering the sauna and sit on a towel not directly on the
bench. Respect the privacy and comfort of others; Our saunas are peaceful
and reflective places for gentle conversation and connection. Please ask other
users before adding more water to the stones. Only put the water provided on
the stones. Inappropriate behaviour will result in removal from the sauna area.
What to bring
- Changing areas are available but limited, if possible please come prepared in
your swimwear
- Bring two towels, one to sit on and one for drying off.
- A water bottle, to be kept outside the sauna for hydration breaks.
- Sliders or flip flops for moving around the wellbeing area
Liability
The Bushcraft show and Loyly-Sauna UK reserve the right to refuse access to
anyone not complying with these terms. By using the sauna, you agree to abide by
all instructions provided by staff and accept full responsibility for your own wellbeing.
Personal Belongings
Please do not leave valuables unattended. The Bushcraft show or Loyly-Sauna UK
accepts no liability for lost or stolen items.
