Storytime and Candle lit walk

Experience an evening of magic and wonder with Evening Storytime with Sylva Fae, Children’s Author.

What time? Sesh one to make jars?

• Meet @ Women in Bushcraft and go forage for ferns, flowers, leaves etc to decorate their jam jars. We’ll need glue guns or similar for fixing the decorations to the jars.
• ‘We’ provide the jars  – put the word out to start collecting (preferably stubby ones).
• We’ll provide jute string & tea light candles, WIB provide tools etc
• The kids go cut a stick (or WIB provide them pre-cut?) to carry the lantern on over their shoulder.
• Jars are marked with the kids name for when they collect at sesh #2

19:00 hrs

• Kids meet at WIB collect their jars with their names on it, light their candles and go for a walk through the main arena, down the bank of the serpintine lake and through the woods into the Kids zone.
• On arrival in Kids Zone there will be hot choc + popcorn and a fire waiting for them to begin storytime. (We will need a team to run the hot choc and popcorn over to the kidzone. Tim Gee to prepare and light the fire. A team to collect up the used cups, rubish and jam jars, if any and dispose, clean up and store?)
