Knife Handle Carving

In this very special workshop, you will be guided through the procedure of shaping and then fitting a wooden handle to a Helle of Norway knife blade.

This class guides you through the process of gluing-up, setting and then shaping your own unique handle. When the glue has set, you will then shape the handle so that it fits your hand perfectly. Once your handle is shaped, you will then make a ‘slip sheath’ from birch bark and of course the knife is yours to take away!
