Join us for a magical evening adventure as we explore the world of bats at Stanford Hall! This Family Bat Walk is a unique opportunity to learn about these fascinating nocturnal creatures and their vital role in the ecosystem.

Led by knowledgeable guides, we’ll embark on a twilight walk around the grounds, using bat detectors to listen to their echolocation calls and spotting them as they swoop and hunt for insects. Along the way, you’ll discover fun facts about different bat species, their behaviours, and why they are so important for a healthy environment.

  • Location: meet Tony Oakwood Bushcraft & Forest School Stand 10min prior to class time.
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • It is recomended to bring a torch.
  • You must purchase a Bushcraft Show entry ticket before booking classes/workshops.
