Choosing the right leather for your project | FREE

Leather choice, tannage, cut, thickness, finish lets match the right leather for your
project.

 

The topic of leather choice is a massive subject; Nigel will assist by breaking down the
leather into understandable groups.
He will talk about tannage and what cuts are available. Why one cut is better than another
when looking for the right leather for what you want to make.
By then end of the talk you will be in a better position to know where to look for what you
want and what to look for in a good hide.

  • You must purchase a Bushcraft Show entry ticket before booking classes/workshops.

PLEASE NOTE
• No video, but photos can be taken at the end
Students are advised to bring along the following items:
• A pen/pencil and paper/notebook, so that you can take notes for future reference.
• A camping chair or ground mat.
• Book signing is available at the end of each lecture. Nigel will be delighted to sign
one of his books, if you have a copy bring it along, books will also be available for
purchase after the lecture.
