Blacksmithing In The Old Forge

£59.50

To the rear of Stanford Hall lies the Ancient Forge – during our 2023 event, for the first time in a great number of generations, we saw The Bushcraft Show bring life back to this stunning piece of history.

Equipped with hammers, anvils, tongs & chisels, under the expert guidance of Connor and his team, you will form this beautiful, uni-sex, piece of jewellery from a solid piece of high-grade copper rod. (Includes a length of black or brown vegan leather cord for you to fashion a necklace).

Alternatively, Connor will furnish you with a steel blank from which you have the option of forging the ever popular Viking Neck Knife or, for when you are at camp, a seriously useful toasting fork.

You can choose to craft one of the following items:

  • A copper ‘feather’ pendant.
  • A viking neck knife.
  • A toasting fork.

You are strongly advised to book your session as soon as possible – they always sell out!
