Fur tanning was a crucial skill in prehistory. Without this knowledge our ancestors would not have been able to survive in the extreme cold of
the Ice Age.
Students will tan squirrel pelts, learning techniques which can be applied to many small mammals. At the end of the course you should have a
beautifully soft squirrel skin to use in numerous craft projects.
